A Boot Kit or Hunting Companion by Maxwell - Sold

A square case covered in blue leatherette which is worn around the edgs and corners.
It fastens with a brass catch.
Inside it is lined in blue satin and velvet,the satin is embossed "Maxwell, 8 Dover Street, London W.1"
Maxwell's were at this address in the first half of the 20th Century.
The box contains a pair of boot jockeys or slides - these are stamped "Maxwell, Dover St." and "Made in England",
There is also a combination shoe horn and button hook,the plating is a little pitted in places.
The case also contains a pair of boot hooks with a flattened ivorine handles, the plating of the steel is worn in places.
