A Sixteenth Lancers Officer's Horse Bit

A branch cheek steel bit. It has a medium port.
The cheeks are curved, each bears a rein loop, there is a straight shackle bar.
There is an round gilt brass cheek boss surmounted by a Queen's crown on each side of the bit.
Each cheek boss bears the monogram "VR" (for Queen Victoria), and crossed lances, plus a garter which reads "Sixteenth Lancers".
The bosses have been much polished over the years, the monograms and lances are no longer crisp

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case first class with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
