An antique Brazilian steel bit.
It is made of steel which has light surface oxidation.
Its mouthpiece has a low sloping port.
The turning cheeks curve backwards.
There is a brass badge or boss on each side of the mouthpiece, these are decorated with cast horse heads.
There are curb rein rings at the ends of each cheek.
It has its original steel curb chain.
There are no maker's marks or stamps.
