A Stainless Steel Military Elbow or Portsmouth Bit - Sold

This is a 20th Century military Portsmouth or Elbow horse bit
It is made of stainless steel.
This design was used by the military because it was a "universal" bit - they often had reversible mouthpieces and the choice of rein slots made it suitable for many different horses.
The mouthpiece has a low port.
Each cheek has two slots for the curb rein.
One cheek is stamped "R.H.A." (Royal Horse Artillery), "B" and "4".

Shipping

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
