This horse head is made from sheets of a lead alloy, possibly tin. It is very detailed, even the facial blood vessels can be seen. There are chips to one ear and the mane. I have been told that it is french, but I am not sure.
This terracotta horse head is life-sized. It is covered in a crackled white tin glaze. It has a chip to the lower mane.
