This was a promotional booklet produced by Moss Bros in the 1950's .

The text was written by R.S.Summerhays and the illustrations were by Joan Wanklyn & Thelwell.

It gives a short history of horse presentation with some fascinating details ( who knew that Elizabeth I drove to the opening of Parliament in a coach drawn by six grey horses whose manes & tails had been dyed orange ?) There is a fold out guide to turnout and dress for various classes and activities from in-hand Arabs, through hunting & polo to harness..
It is in very good condition,.
