Kohler Hunting Horn

A slim copper hunting horn with a nickel silver mouthpiece.
The bell of the horn is stamped " Kohler & Son, Makers, Henrietta St., Covent Garden, London".
This stamp makes the horn later than 1830 when Kohler moved to this address but probably earlier that 1851 when they started to use stamps showing exhibition medals.
There are a couple of dents in the mouthpiece andseveral dents in the copper - especially around the rim of the bell (please see the images)
It still sounds well

Dimensions 9" (23cm) long x 1¾" (4.2cm) bell diameter
Weight : 81g ( 2¾oz)
