13th Century Medieval Prick Spur

This spur has a spike or prick rather than a rowel.
There is a circular plate around the spike, this would prevent it digging into the horse's sides.
The heel bands are curved, they would pass below the rider's ankle bone.
Each arm has a hole or eyelet at its end, one at ninety degrees to the arm, the other in line with its arm
