View BasketThis spur is made of iron or steel, it has light surface oxidation which could be polished off.
It has a small eight pointed rowel cut from a square, this still turns.
The short neck curves downwards.
There is a slot for a strap above the neck.
The heel bands taper and have a rectangular slot at each end.
Dimensions : Total length 5½" (14 cm), Width inside heel 3" (7.5cm) , Rowel 1" (2.5cm) Weight 5¼oz (148g)
