A pair of early 20th century nickel alloy spurs.
These spurs have short necks with bulbous ends, there are no rowels.
The arms of the heel bands are asymmetric, the outer arms are longer than the inner.
They have oval loops or slots at the end of each for the attachment of the strap.
Both spurs are stamped inside "Maxwell, 8, Dover St, London" - this was Maxwell's address from around the 1920's .
They have their original straps and buckles.
