These are silver coloured stirrups which probably date from the early twentieth century.
They are circular and have suspension slots on top (the tops of these slots show wear from the stirrup leathers)
The stirrups are stamped on each side of the slot "Solid Nickel" - this is interesting, the English words probably indicate that these stirrups were made in England (probably Walsall) for the Brazilian export market.
The lower part of each stirrup swells out to form the tread
Both stirrups have many small dents and dings - they were working tools
