A showing cane with a bulbous end formed by the root of the cane. These are known as neilgherry (or Nilgheri or Nilgiri) canes (the cane originally came from the foothills of the Nilgiri mountains in India). The cane is covered in plain mahogany coloured leather with a good old patina. There is a braided leather collar. The leather at the very end of the cane is a bit worn, it could be re-covered.
