This whip has a staghorn or antler handle with a crown shaped "gatepusher" stud on top.
It has a plain silver collar hallmarked Birmingham 1904. The collar is engraved, (I cannot read the name) it bears the later date Sept 1908. There is a small dent in the silver collar.
The stock or shaft of the whip is made of segmented cane, which has been treated to give a beautiful red-brown and black "clouded cane" effect..
It has a replacement bridle leather keeper or leather loop at its end
