They are made of black waxed leather with leather soles
The boots have brown leather tops.
The boots have their original four part wooden trees .
Each tree has a brass ring on top, one has an plaque which reads "Jackson, 4 Avery Row, Grosvenor St", I cannot find
any records of Jackson as a bootmaker or retailer, but this was a prestigious Mayfair address.
These boots have been used, there are areas of creasing and rubbing and the heels are a little worn.
Measurements :
The foot of the tree has a maximum length of 28.5cm (11¼") which translates to a UK size 10, a US size 10½ or EU size 44.5.
The maximum circumference of the calf of the tree is 35.5cm (14")
External foot length of the boot : 29.5cm ( 11⅝")
Height including tree : 52cm (20½")
Weight : 7.6kg (16lb 12oz)
