Vintage Crocodile Shooting Stick
This stick probably dates from the early 20th Century.
It has a wooden shaft covered in dark brown crocodile leather with a pivoting metal plate and spike at its lower end
There is a small gap between the end of the crocodile and the metal plate.
The handle forms folding seat.
It has an aluminium frame which supports a crocodile leather seat. There is a one inch area where the stiching has come apart on the underside of the seat.
The frame is stamped "Pat.21306723" and "Reg.696499".
Height from seat when open to metal plate 28" (71cm), Seat Frame 14" (35.5cm) x 3¾" (9.8cm)
