Vintage Leather Sandwich Case - Sold
This is a dark tan coloured leather case, originally it would have held a sandwich tin.
It probably dates from the late twentieth century. The front of the case is stamped "Real Hide, Made in England".
The saddle straps and buckles are in good condition, but it neads a new strap for one of the D-ring buckles.
The girth strap is securely attached and still flexible.
The case closes with a billet fastening. It is unlined.
The case would attach behind the saddle flap on the offside.
It would have once held a sandwich tin, but could be used for a phone, money, chocolate...
