This old bit was probably made by a local blacksmith
The straight mouthpiece was made from a length of square section steel.
There are two rectangular holes in the mouthpiece.
There is a single extra loose ring around the mouthpiece - possibly it this was made to be used as a Wilson snaffle on one side of the outh for a perticular horse ?
It has long turning cheeks with flat bit rings.
There are no identifying marks.
