"Best Steel" Ring Bit - Sold
An old steel ring bit with silver coloured (? tin) plating.
The plating is scratched and bubbling in places.
This severe mouthpiece has a high rectangular port with a slot in it.
A circular ring is suspended from the top of the port, this acts as a curb.
The long cheeks curve slightly backwards, each has a small semi-circular plate on its back edge.
One cheek is stamped "Best Steel".
There are hanger shaped rein loops at the ends of the cheeks.
