He published this third edition in 1904 after travels in Russia and South Africa.
Its full title is "Points of The Horse : A Treatise on the Conformation, Movements, Breeds and Evolution of the Horse"
It contains many photographs of different breeds as well as illustrations of points of conformation, paces etc.
There is also a fascinating chapter on zebras and quaggas.
It is in fair condition, with light foxing throughout, a previous owner's name inside the cover and wear to the edges and corners of the cover
