This is a first edition of this book, published by J.B. Lippincott of Philadelphia in 1928.
Its original red dust cover is a little tatty but the bright red cover with gilt lettering and decoration is in very good condition.
There is a price in pencil on the inside cover.
There is a frontispiece, in color of a meet and a further 16 illustrations in doubletone.
I am particularly fond of the image of the author's wife presenting a hound show trophy.
