Needham Portable Spurs

This is an advertisement for Edward Needham's portable spurs from the Midland Railway Companion of 1840

They came in many designs, including swan-necked, japanned and blued steel

These examples are in their original card boxes with Needham labels on the reverse

Each spur is stamped "Needham" and some are also stamped "Patent"
