This whip has a staghorn handle with a silver button stamped "Swaine & Co, London" on its heel. It has a silver collar which is hallmarked London 1883. The collar has a few small dents and dings. The long stock or shaft is covered in finely braided brown thread (probablylinen or hemp). This is in very good condition with only a couple of small scuffs near the silver collar. . It has its original leather open keeper or loop at its end
