A pair of sterling silver spurs. The outer arms are hallmarked London 1927 and have the clover-shaped stamp of the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company. These spurs have short downturned necks with blunt ends and no rowels. The insides of the heel bands are engraved "G.J.F-S 14-IV-68" on one and "G.J.F-S 25-XII-68" on the other - maybe one spur was a birthday present and the other a Christmas gift ? The spurs have studs and buckles for the attachment of their straps. They have black leather straps and could be used today
