Vintage Rawhide Buggy Whip - w1293

This whip came from the sale of Mr Potter's Museum of Curiosities (read more here).
It has a silver coloured (probably nickel) cap and collar
The whole whip is covered in braided thread.
The stock or shaft is flexible, it has a label attached which reads "Pure Rawhide Center"
It has a short cord lash bound onto its end

Dimensions : Length to top of "knot" where lash joins shaft 5 feet 11" (180cm)
