An Antique Tibetan wooden saddle - Sold

A wooden saddle from Tibet.
This saddle with its high pommel is made from quite crudely carved pale wood with a leather pad tacked on as a seat.
The leather is hard and dry.
Skins and textiles would have been placed on the seat.
This saddle has a red wax seal on its front panel - this indicates that it was an antique legally exported from China.

Dimensions of saddle : 15½" (39.5cm) long x 17" (43.5cm) wide x 12½"(32cm) tall

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (usually Special Delivery with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I am quite happy to refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
