These are gilt spurs with cast foliate decoration.
They have steel inserts which would fit into "boxes" in the heel of the boot.
The necks are curved in a swan or goose shape.
The rose shaped rowels have engraved decoration.
There are decorative rose shaped screw heads at the end of each arm.
The spurs are stamped "15 Pall Mall", the 1863 London Gazette records Edward Frederick Coe, spur maker at this address.
