19th Century South American Spur

A single steel South American spur with a dark aged patina.
This has a large twenty two pointed rowel - one of the spokes of the rowel is broken.
The thick neck has incised decoration and the "kidney shaped" opening typical of the region..
Each arm of the spur ends in two slots for the spur straps.
There are no maker's marks or stamps
