A Spanish Colonial or Early Mexican Spur
This spurs is made of iron, it has a good dark aged patina and its surface is stable.
It dates from the late 18th or early 19th Century.
It has an many pointed "sawtooth" rowel which still turns.
The neck curves downwards .
The heel bands are round in profile, they have deeply incised lines on their surface - these probably once held silver inlay.
Each arm ends in two rectangular slots. There is a swinging button on each arm.

Shipping

I will charge actual shipping costs (in this case first class with insurance), with no additional handling fees. I have quoted the cost for the UK - please email me for other destinations. I am happy to combine shipping costs if more than one item is bought.

Refunds

I will refund payment (minus shipping costs) if you are not happy with an item for any reason & contact me (promptly please) & return it. If I've described it inaccurately, I'll refund the shipping cost as well. If there has been damage in transit, please keep the item and the packaging until we have sorted out the insurance.
