These spurs are made of brass or bronze (possibly "Hercules bronze" but they are not stamped.
Each spur has a well cast silver metal (nickel ? ) Indian chief's head applied to the outer heel band
They have downward turning necks with raised chap guards and freely turning ten pointed rowels.
The rowels are non-magnetic - possibly nickel or aluminium ?
Each heel band has a button at its end and a tab with two holes where chains would attach.
These spurs have been used and they have surface scratches in places - please look at the images
This design of spur was produced by Buermann but this pair is not stamped
