Edwardian Lady's Holly Driving Whip by Swaine & Adeney - Sold
This vintage bow top whip has a nickel cap and collar
The handle or grip is covered in brown leather with a finely stitched seam.
The shaft or stock is golden brown coloured holly
It is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd., Makers to the King & Queen Alexandra, 185 Piccadilly, London".
This dates it to the reign of King Edward VII , 1901-1910.
It has a traditional bow top and a braided cream coloured thong with knots near its end

Length of thong from knot, not including cord lash 44" (112cm)
