This whip has a staghorn handle. There is a silver button on the heel of the horn, this is stamped "Cooke & Sons, London" There is a broad crown shaped metal gatepusher on the top of the staghorn. It has a silver collar, this is hallmarked London 1901 and engraved with a monogram "TSC". There is one large dent and many small dings in the silver. The stock or shaft is made of golden brown malacca cane. It has a dark brown leather keeper. The surface of the keeper is crackled on one side but it is still flexible
