This whip has a gold cap and collar, the cap is hallmarked London 1912 and marked ".375". The hallmarks on the collar are rubbed but one can make out a "9" for 9 carat . The cap is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd., London". The grip is covered in cream and black lizard leather with a finely stitched seam. The rest of the shaft is covered in braided cream coloured thread. The whip has lost its original cord lash but this could be replaced.
