This whip has an antler or staghorn handle. There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped " Swaine & Adeney Ltd, London". It has a silver collar, this is hallmarked London 1919 and stamped with the silversmith's mark "ESA". The shaft or stock is covered in brown braided leather. The whip has a small open keeper in bridle leather and a braided leather thong with a red cord lash.
