This whip has an antler or staghorn handle. There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped " Swaine & Adeney Ltd, London". It has a silver collar, this is hallmarked London 1920 and stamped with the silversmith's mark "ESA" It is also engraved "C.H.Rawson, Leicester The shaft or stock is covered in very dark brown, almost black braided leather. The whip has its original stitched bridle leather keeper.
