This whip has a staghorn handle. There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd. London".
It has a silver collar with ribbed edges, this is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked although the hallmark is too rubbed to read. The collar is engraved "JOAN from Jimmy 6-11-35" .
The slim stock or shaft is covered in brown braided leather.
It has its original stitched leather keeper and a braided leather thong with a loop at its end and a red cord lash
