1941 WW2 British Army Canvas Satchel or Case - cav075

A canvas saddle bag .
It closes with a flap and buckle. The tan leather straps do not appear to have been used.

Under the lid the front of the case is stamped  “Horse MKI, W&G, 5 / 1941” there is also a broad arrow

The case is unlined. There is a large cotton pocket inside.

A buckle and a long strap are attached to the back of the case.
