A tan coloured leather case in almost unused condition. There are straps and brass D-rings on the back for attachment to a saddle, These are in good condition.
The lid of the case is curved and closes with two brass buckle fastenings. The lid is stamped with a broad arrow.
Under the lid the front of the case is stamped "BLG 1944" in a diamond design The case is unlined.
The main compartment includes three holders for medicine bottles and inside the lid are two small retaining straps.
The front of the pouch folds down and opens out to reveal four holders for instruments
