A tan coloured leather case. There are two saddle straps on the back for attachment to the D-rings of a saddle, These are in good condition.
There is also a strap on the back with a brass D-ring on each end. The lid of the case is curved and closes with a brass buckle fastening. The lid is stamped "275".
Under the lid the front of the case is stamped "S E N 1944" and has a broad arrow stamp The case is unlined. There is an interior partition across the case and the front section is further divided into three. There is a narrow strap inside which could have passed under a fitting to help with its removal.
It is in good condition for its age with a few surface scuffs and scratches. All the stitching and straps are in good order.
