A 14th/15th Century Rowel Spur - Spur364

This excavated spur has a small revolving rowel which still turns. The rowel has three broken points.

The heel bands are slightly curved to accommodate the rider's ankle bone.

There is a double eyelet on one of the arms, it is missing from the other
This spur has been cleaned and treated with a preservative
