A Mediaeval spur in excavated condition It has a quite long straight neck, this would have held a rotating rowel - the rowel has been lost. The arms of the spur are curved to pass below the rider's ankle bone. The ends of the arms have the remains of circular holes or eyelets .
The heel band is wide and has the remains of pierced decoration.
