A 19th Century Steel Fixed Cheek Pelham - Bit1020

This pelham is made of steel with a dark, aged patina
The mouthpiece is straight.
It is stamped "W.C. *".

The long  cheeks are in a fixed position, each ends in a curb rein ring.

 One of the cheeks is stamped "Oxford" and the other "....S".

The bit still has its original curb hooks.
