This snaffle bit is made from a nickel alloy. The mouthpiece has a central hinge or rule-joint.
There are spoon shaped extensions on each end of the mouth piece. There are small inner rings which would attach to the headstall and larger outer rings for the reins. The mouthpiece is stamped "Never Rust" and "Made in England".
