A pair of steel stirrups from the late 19th century.
They have a dark patina with a little surface pitting. Any maker's stamps have been lost
The arches of the stirrups taper upwards to integral suspension loops
The sides are Prussian - they have "shoulders" towards the base.
They have hollow oval treads.
