A pair of steel South American spurs with very large rowels.
Apparently these were presented to the famous jockey Lester Piggott.
These have geometric inlaid decoration along both sides of their heel bands. The necks have pierced decoration
The ends of the heel bands of the spurs have two slots for straps and are decorated with lines of "beads" . There is also beading where the necks join the bodies of the spurs. They have extremely large many pointed steel rowels. The tips of a few of the points are slightly bent. There are no maker's marks or stamps
