A Pair of Small Nickel Stirrups - Stirrup443

A pair of stirrups from the mid 20th century.

Their bases are stamped "Solid Nickel". 

The arches of the stirrups taper upwards to integral suspension loops
The open oval treads have machine punched marks to help grip, but many have been worn away.
