This pelham is made from steel, with a dark aged patina The mouthpiece is twisted and has a central hinge or rule-joint. The joint is constructed so that the mouthpiece can only bend through about 90 degrees. The cheeks turn, Each cheek curves forward and then back in its lower part - possibly just a decorative feature because the curb rein loop still sits in line with the cheekpiece looop The bit still has its original curb hooks. It is a really well made bit but I cannot find any maker's marks or stamps
