A brass ring bit, the mouthpiece has a very high port with a cross shaped top.
A steel ring is suspended from the cross in the port. The bit has triangular brass cheekplates these have coiled wire and lost wax cast decoration with brass studs at each corner.
There is a straight shackle bar There is a rein chain attached to each cheek.
