An Antique Hanoverian Pelham Horse Bit - Bit182

A straight cheeked Hanoverian Pelham bit .
It is made from steel, this has a dark aged patina with a little pitting
The bit has a medium port which is hinged, but has fused in position. There are six cherry rollers, which all turn.
The original 19^th Century curb hooks are still present.
