This pad cheek bit is made of steel. The mouthpiece has a low port.
Each cheek bears a brass badge or boss. These badges show a king's crown over a wreath of oak leaves. In the middle of the wreath there is a monogram "LBY" ? Presumably a yeomanry regiment. The bit has no maker's stamps or marks.
