This piece is handforged in iron or steel It has a curved hollow noseband with serrated edges Modern versions are covered in leather, i suspect this was not. There is a central fixed link and ring in the middle of the noseband. There is a figure of eight shaped link on each end of the noseband, two rings hang from each of these links.
